Summing up the last few days

Dh's job falls into the federal cuts that Obama is putting into action to cut down the national deficit. He will be laid off at the end of the month.

We are far from thrilled, but at least we know it's not due to job performance or anything of that nature as his boss is fighting for his job (though it sounds pointless). So we are looking all over the country for work for him and open to the opportunity to move.

And i have to say, if one more person badmouths the president when they hear about our situation i'm going to lose it. Seriously? We are the ones reeling from the effects of this and yet i completely understand that it has to happen. It is nothing personal, it is not our fault, instead it is a president trying to take action in cutting a deficit that he neither created nor helped to make. His citizens insist on a budget reform, and insist we get back to the days of Clinton and yet they voted into office a president who gave us 8 years of war and a budget that flew up into the trillions. I get it, not sure why others cant and have to turn it into politics. Something i abhor, since I proudly DONT vote and don't get personal about others political stances/beliefs. People who make personal attacks on others or those in office due to their party, drive me batty. Don't bring it here people, i dont want to hear it. We aren't bitter and we aren't ready to boot Obama out of office, it is what happens when a nation spends without realizing the impact it will have down the road.

Then again, maybe i'm jaded since i'm a California resident who has lived with the negative impact of having a state that hasn't been within budget since i hit puberty.
