I really need to get better at blogging. I've been slacking and not doing it daily as i use to and i miss it dearly. I feel much more at peace when i can get all my thoughts out before me, and see them in print. So i will strive to stop being such a loser and keep up with this better!
This weekend we went for our 10 week u/s and all is well. 1 healthy babe and my IM (intended mother) is beyond thrilled at the fact that after 10 years of trying she has a tangible dream of becoming a mother! It was priceless and reminded me WHY i have been pursueing surrogacy for the last 2 years. All the shots, the hormones, the pain in the rear protocal. . . worth every moment to see another woman realize for the first time that she too can follow her dream of becoming a mother and that soon it will be a reality!
Afterwards, we drove over to Disneyland. Ben and I had decided to take the whole family down to see my IM for the u/s, we all felt better about that then me just flying out for the night. So afterwards we decided to surprise the girls with a stop at Disneyland. It was amazing and we were shocked that we managed to do it on a short 2 hours of sleep lol. Worth every penny and every tired breath we shared. The girls were angelic, minded so well and in love with the magic that is disneyland. Ben and i also were in awe as we saw things through their eyes.
