Christmas projects

For christmas the girls are getting their playroom done. Part of it will have an alphabet mobile and so far this is how far i've gotten. It will look better once i get popsicle sticks and the fishing wire to hang it.

These are pretty intensive as i had to cut each one, then paint the background then go back over with paint for the letters. DH has nicer handwritting then i, so he will be writting out the words once they are ready.

So far my favorite is the mountain one because i added rhinestones for the stream. The baby one, im 'eh' about. It's been years since i drew or even picked up a paintbrush for art aside from shirts.

Another section will be the girls dress up area. We have fairy wings, tutus, leotards, ballet slippers, tinkerbell costumes, cinderella and snow white as well. So i decided to make poodle skirts and so far have completed Lyssa's only. Let me just tell you, i HATE patterns.

Patterns and I just plain dont mix. They have too much verbage when simple instructions are all that's needed. So i winged it once i got through it, i was amazed the zipper even worked! Kiki's will be in a pretty blue and i will start cutting that out this evening and hope to finish it before midnight lol!
