Hallelujah! I forgot how much i despise being sick. But today, i woke up even after only 4 hours of sleep feeling closer to my old self than i had in a week. The kidney infection is kicked and tomorrow is my last day of antibiotics. I'm relieved that the probiotics have been working and no other infections have arose. My sinus infection has drained about 50% and that is a huge relief. Now, if only i could figure out a way to teach my girls to sleep in past 7 am, i would be the happiest momma on earth!
Today we resumed our 'learning time'. The girls adore it. They shriek and giggle and get so excited about learning time, anything i ask them to do before it is done in a snap and it's nice to see them excited about learning. Even if at the hands of their mother. Today we did bugs, the letter b, the number 2 and the vocab word of butterfly. The girls had a blast pretending to be different bugs, then loved settling down to color and cut, stamp and do arts and crafts. Kiki has started showing interest in trying to write the letters we are learning, and is getting frustrated her hands wont do what she wants. It's pretty cute and i try not to let her catch me smiling as she pouts and exclaims 'Im frustrated at my hand!' i love this age, something i never thought I'd say. 5 and 3 kick butt and I'm excited for the rest of the year!
