Gross Motor Skills Activity: (Monday)
Go over learning board – theme, vocab, shape/color, letter, number.
Read Poem/rhyme.
Do a bug walk, hop like a grasshopper, fly like a butterfly.
Color letter B and cut out. Color number 2 cut out, place both on learning collage.
Color activity page.
Make butterfly and bug playdoh cookies.
Let the girls’ choose which book to read.
Sing song
Letter (Tuesday)
The letter this week is the letter B.
Go over learning board – theme, vocab, shape/color, letter, number.
Recite poem/rhyme.
Give your child a printout of the (capital) letter B.
Teach your child to trace the shape of the letter B with Q-Tip painting, place on learning collage.
Point out the letter B around the playroom.
Place b stickers on learning collage.
Color activity page.
Find bugs & butterflies from magazines, cut out and place on learning collage.
Choose a book to read.
Sing song.
Shape/Color (Wednesday)
This week you will teach the color white.
Go over learning board – theme, vocab, shape/color, letter, number.
Recite poem/rhyme.
Introduce the color by coloring on your learning poster with white paint
Point out white clothing.
Point out objects around your home of the color white.
Let your child color letter B & number 2, place on learning collage.
Find white things in the fridge.
Play with white playdoh.
Choose book to read.
Sing song.
Number (Thursday)
The number this week is the number 2.
Go over learning board – theme, vocab, shape/color, letter, number.
Read poem/ rhyme.
Show your child 2 objects to count, or eat 2 crackers, 2 cheerios, etc.
Show your child the written symbol (numeral) for 2 and put on your learning collage.
Add 2 stickers to your learning collage.
Draw 2 squares on a piece of paper and count them with your child.
Walk around your home counting 2 of many different objects.
Choose a book to read.
Sing song.
Fine Motor Skills Activity: (Friday)
Go over learning board – theme, vocab, shape/color, letter, number.
Read poem/ rhyme.
Color activity page.
Make butterflies, use tissue paper for wings, q-tips for body. When dry place on learning collage.
Put together activity pages in order and bind into rhyme book.
