PSA - Regarding Pregnancy Cravings

It is not a good idea (no matter how badly your brain is trying to convince you) to give into that 10 pm pregnancy craving for a big mac (especially when you NEVER eat them and generally hate them). But if you insist on ignoring my public service announcement. . . please do not be surprised, upset, annoyed or pissed off that at 4:10 am you WILL wake up with your first and WORST case of heartburn of the pregnancy, mumbling under your breath as you try not to heave and get your pants on at the same time. . . go downstairs where its frigid and search for the tums bottle that you left unopened in the cabinet above the fridge that you're too short to reach over. It will not end pleasantly. You will take 5 mins making a racket, hoping you're loud enough to wake the 6 foot 2 dh that can easily reach the bottle (who is snoring away, completely ignorant to your pain and discomfort) as you finally pull out the stool in a hazy, painful fog; grab the tums and chomp down on 3 as quickly as you can. It wont go away, but it will take the edge off enough for you to have learned your lesson and remember why years ago you swore OFF of the Big Macs.

That is all, return to your regularly scheduled program.

I have never been into the big mac's, but I'm all over a $.89 burger with french fries and extra ketchup.

I've never woken up from heartburn, but certainly know it's hard to fall asleep with it.
